Beginner Hoop Dance Classes - Level 1 & Level 2
Beginner Level 1 and Beginner Level 2 classes are offered. Each level is a six week class. No experience necessary! Hoops provided!
Level 1 and Level 2 can be taken independently.
This series allows for lots of one-on-one attention and detailed instruction. You will explore dancing while hooping, with ample time to master moves. Each day is devoted to increasing awareness in a different part of the body while working with a specific principle of hoop dance. Even seasoned hoopers can gain grace, flow and inspiration from level 1 and level 2 by emphasizing: dancing, expression, "outflow" (opposite direction), and reversals!
Moves Covered
The following moves will be covered during the six week class series:
Beginner Level 1
Pump, Float Up, Float Down, Wild West, Slinky, Snake, Booty Bump, Limbo, Barrel Roll.
Beginner Level 2
Booty Blitz, Swish, Warrior, Ring, Leap, Whisper, Toss, Revolving Door, Electric Slide, Pin Up, and Scissor Kick.
